February, 2008 Look for the Labyrinth We asked for volunteers and now we have a team of seven “labyrinthians”. Our team includes Kathy Adams, a Labyrinth Facilitator trained by Lauren Artress of Grace Cathedral; George Heeg, a retired civil engineer; and George Rasmussen, who built the labyrinth at Church of the Ascension in Saratoga. Ralbe Miller and Sandy Whitney, who simply like labyrinths, also want to help us build one. We’re especially delighted that Will Noack, a sophomore at Bellarmine College Prep, offered to head up our labyrinth program for his Eagle Scout Project. As you may know, Eagle Scouts not only plan, lead and execute their projects, but also fund raise to cover the cost. Having labyrinth volunteers and the material costs covered is a wonderful gift to our Center, and we’re very thankful. Will is being supported by his father, Dick Noack, as well as the rest of his Boy Scout Troop. He expects many of his 50-man troop to help build the labyrinth in April. |
