Presentation Center is well located within a short distance
of a number of local attractions:
- Hakone Gardens,
Saratoga, CA
— A tranquil place of peace and harmony. Come experience Hakone,
the oldest Asian and Japanese estate in the Western Hemisphere--eighteen
acres of magnificent beauty nestled in the verdant hills of Saratoga
overlooking Silicon Valley.
- Santa Cruz Beaches
- Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk —
The family-operated Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk celebrated its Centennial
in 2007. It is one of the last of the great seaside amusement parks
in the United States.
- Santa Cruz Mystery Spot
- Roaring Camp Railroads,
Felton, CA — The area’s first railroad, the Santa Cruz & Felton,
began carrying tourists to the Big Trees and the beach in 1875. In
2003, the Roaring Camp & Big Trees Narrow Gauge RR celebrated its
Ruby Anniversary (40 years) and the Santa Cruz, Big Trees & Pacific
RY has been operating along the 1875 Santa Cruz & Felton route
since 1985.
- Local Wineries and Vineyards "just down
the road"
- Winchester Mystery
House, San Jose, CA — In 1884, a wealthy widow named Sarah
L. Winchester began a construction project of such magnitude that it
was to occupy the lives of carpenters and craftsmen until her death
thirty-eight years later. The Victorian mansion, designed and built
by the Winchester Rifle heiress, is filled with so many unexplained
oddities, that it has come to be known as the Winchester Mystery House.
